Description:

• The BME (BioMedical Enterprises) Surgical Orthopedic OSStaple OSSplate Instrument Set is a collection of tools used in orthopedic surgery to implant and manipulate BME's Continuous Compression Implants (CCI), also known as bone staples. 

Specifications:

• Continuous Compression Implants (CCIs): The staples themselves, made of shape-memory alloy (typically Nitinol), designed to provide active compression across osteotomies and fusions to promote bone healing.
• Versatility: BME offers various CCI models in different sizes and shapes, like the Speed, SpeedTitan, BME Elite, SpeedArc, and SpeedTriad, for different anatomical areas and procedures in the foot and ankle, hand, and wrist.
• Instrumentation: The set includes specialized instruments for implanting the staples:Drill guides and templates: To accurately prepare the bone for staple insertion.
• Insertion tools: Designed to confidently deploy and reload the staple, potentially with a “zero-torque” design to minimize stress on the implant during insertion.
